Do pricing work with better tools and no business development.
Albi runs pricing for companies as a managed system. Senior pricing operators deliver that work: we bring the customer, the data infrastructure, and the analysis — you bring judgment. No pitching, no proposals, no chasing invoices.
We take on a small number of experts as engagements come. We're selective, and we'd rather say that plainly than promise volume we can't guarantee.
You do the thinking. Everything else is handled.
- —The customer — sold, scoped, and expecting the work
- —Their data, already ingested from Stripe and modelled
- —Competitive benchmark with provenance, from a maintained pricing database
- —Willingness-to-pay studies (VW · GG · Conjoint · MaxDiff), synthetic or real-panel
- —Per-customer impact projection and the path into their billing system
- The read on what the numbers actually mean for this business
- The segmentation and value-capture calls the model can't make
- The proposal, and the conversation where it gets approved
- Judgment about what this customer can execute, not just what's optimal
- A recommendation you'd defend in front of their board
Senior operators, not generalists
Independent pricing consultants
The bar. You've run real engagements end to end and can hold a room with a CFO.
What's in it for you. The analysis you'd spend two weeks assembling is already there, and the customer is already sold.
Fractional monetization leaders
The bar. You've owned pricing inside companies, not just advised on it.
What's in it for you. Work that continues past the recommendation — you see whether it shipped and what it did.
Ex-consultancy pricing operators
The bar. Simon-Kucher, big-3, or a boutique — you know the method and where it breaks.
What's in it for you. The method with the manual parts removed, and no business development attached to it.
You deliver as Albi, on Albi's customers.
Worth being direct, because it decides whether this is for you: the engagement is Albi's, the customer relationship is Albi's, and the work carries Albi's name. If you want your own brand on the deliverable, this isn't the right fit — and it's cheaper for both of us to know that now.
Applying creates an account and a short profile — specialties, industries, regions, capacity, and any conflicts. We review every application, usually with a call. Once you're on the bench we staff you onto specific customers; you get full access to their engagement and none to anyone else's. Approval of a pricing change always stays with the customer — see Security for how that's enforced.
